Every day, we receive distraught calls from fabulous people saying: ‘I was told I am NOT an Invisalign candidate!’ And every day we get to brighten up these peoples day by saying: ‘Oh, but yes you are, my friend.’ At Lineberger Orthodontics, Dr. Matt Lineberger, Dr. Megan Lineberger, Dr. Claire Fedore and Dr. Bhaven Sayania, offer Invisalign® for children, teenagers and adults in Charlotte, Elizabeth, Huntersville and surrounding communities in North Carolina.
What is Invisalign®?
Are you ready to love the idea of having orthodontic treatments? Yes, it is possible thanks to Invisalign®. You may have seen commercials on television or online about Invisalign® aligners, but is this really the magical solution people dream about for their orthodontic treatments? We believe so. Invisalign® may not be for everyone, but these clear plastic devices certainly help many of our patients.
Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign® does not rely on brackets, wires and other types of industrial strength materials to straighten your charming smirk. Instead, Invisalign® uses a series of clear aligners that fit over your teeth. You wear each aligner for maybe two weeks, and then you move up to the next aligner in the series.
What are the Benefits of Clear Braces?
No wires and brackets. Need we say more? But Invisalign® does offer other benefits for our patients.
- Clear braces cost the same as traditional braces
- Custom fit for comfort
- Removable for brushing and flossing
- No food restrictions — just take them out and enjoy that caramel popcorn
- Helps with common orthodontic issues
Why should you choose L.O. for your Invisalign® treatments when everyone and their cousins are offering the aligners? We are a Top 1% Double Diamond Elite Invisalign® Provider. Yes, that’s a real thing. We have also consistently ranked in the Top 3 Invisalign® providers in North Carolina and South Carolina. Unlike other providers, we literally offer the treatment to every patient who walks through our door, and we use our own creativity to find ways for clear braces to work, even for patients who have been told by other providers they are not good candidates. In fact, we now train other providers in our techniques.
What Treatments with Clear Braces are Available?
Because clear braces are such a new concept in orthodontic treatments, many people have questions about how the Invisalign® aligners work to straighten teeth.
With Everyone Out There at Least Dabbling in and Offering Invisalign®, Why Would You Choose Us?
We are fully committed to making orthodontics a fun and personalized experience for all our patients of all ages. Very early on, we realized that braces are not for everyone; and it made us insanely sad to think that these people would never realize their smile potential. So basically, starting day one, we learned all we could about what was possible and got super creative and innovative in our treatment planning. We changed our way of thinking about traditional orthodontics and made ourselves into plastic professionals, aligner all-stars, and elite Invisalign engineers.
Fast-forward to today: We are a Top 1% Elite Invisalign Provider who has been consistently selected as one of the top three providers in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
We offer Invisalign as a choice to every patient who walks in the door as we have become comfortable treating almost any grill out there. We even train general dentists and assist orthodontists who are just starting out with the product and may be working with a difficult case. Why do we care like that? Because regardless of who treats the patients, we want everyone in the Queen City and surrounding communities to have a smile they LOVE.
When you choose Lineberger Orthodontics for your Invisalign, you are choosing experts in aligner-therapy who have creatively found solutions over and over again to cases others would not even think of taking on. You are choosing experience. You are choosing innovation. You are choosing creativity. You are choosing customization.
What Should I Expect from My Invisalign® Treatments?
You should expect to feel comfortable and confident with your cheesy grin, even though you are straightening your teeth. No need to worry about having food stuck in brackets or trying to find new ways to prevent rubbing on your cheeks. You need not relearn how to speak or chew. Just use the aligners as directed. It really is that simple.
Am I an Invisalign® Candidate?
Yes. Is it keraaaaayzay expensive? We charge the same for Invisalign as we do for braces. We have a tiered approach as far as how much treatment costs based on case difficulty and patient goals. We require little to no down payment; and we offer interest-free financing and the ability for you to customize your payment plans.
Does Invisalign® Work as Well as Braces?
Yes, and at times, better and more efficiently with less appointments, short appointments, less oral hygiene problems, less life interruptions.
How Often Do You Wear the Aligners?
The ultimate goal would be 22 hours a day – we ask you to wear your Invisalign at all times, except when you’re eating or brushing your teeth.
Will I have attachments placed on my teeth? You most likely will. These ingenious, little invisible bumps will be placed on strategic places on certain teeth and give that extra umph to move the crown into the perfect place. We do honor requests, at times, to keep them off of certain teeth on a case-by-case basis. However, they are virtually invisible and will not be noticed, unless an orthodontist is staring at you from four feet or less.
Can I Drink with my Aligners?
Water, 100% yes. We vow to never, ever, ever take away your coffee or wine, but it is best to take Invisalign out for these. Unfortunately, they can stain the aligners. Since you are changing your aligners frequently, it may be okay to have some non-dark non-water drinks as long as you rinse the aligner vigorously afterwards.
