The ultimate goal would be 22 hours a day – we ask you to wear your Invisalign at all times, except when you’re eating or brushing your teeth. Sounds like a lot but it’s really easy. We promise.
You most likely will. These ingenious little bumps will be placed on strategic places on certain teeth and give that extra oomph to move the tooth into the perfect place.
We do honor requests, at times, to keep them off of certain teeth on a case-by-case basis. However, they are virtually invisible and will not be noticed, unless an orthodontist is staring at you from four feet or less.
Water, 100% yes. We vow to never, ever, ever take away your coffee or wine, but it is best to take Invisalign out for these. Unfortunately, they can stain the aligners. Since you are changing your aligners frequently, it may be okay to have some non-dark non-water drinks as long as you rinse the aligners vigorously afterwards.
