Smile Express FAQs

What’s the difference between Smile Express and Full Treatment?

Smile Express cases are generally shorter because the treatment is ideal for adults looking to make minor adjustments to achieve the perfect smile. Full treatment cases include corrections for more complex issues that require more frequent office visits.

Am I a candidate for Smile Express?

If you’re 18 or older, there’s a good chance you are. When you come in for your complimentary exam and consultation, our doctors and treatment coordinators will determine your candidacy based on your smile goals as well as the complexity and length of your treatment plan.

How do I start?

Everything starts with a free consultation. From there, your treatment coordinator will go over your contract and answer any questions you may have, including how to access your insurance and FSA/MSA benefits, if applicable.

After that, we’ll scan your smile, and we’ll handle the rest! Once your aligners arrive, you simply pop them on, starting with set #1 and wear them for 20-22 hours a day for 1 week before switching to the next set.

Do I have to come in for an appointment?

Remember that each Smile Express treatment plan is customized. That said, generally you need to come in twice: Once to get started and once for your final evaluation.

How much does it cost?

Step right up, number crunchers! While every case is unique, pop over to our pricing page to view some smile investment examples.

Does it really only take 6 months?

Our goal is to transform your unique smile as efficiently and safely as possible. 6 months is our average treatment time, but we don’t subscribe to a one-size-fits-all model. The best way to determine the length of your smile journey is to schedule a free consultation.

It’s great that I can stay connected with my doctor, but how do I do that?

Until we secure the copyright on our very own Bat-Signal, you can connect with your doctor and orthodontic care team via the Smile Doctors Anywhere app. Using our state-of-the-art ScanBoxPro, you can also send weekly smile scans to ensure your treatment is progressing exactly how it should. It’s all part of our plan to offer office-quality oversight wherever you are.

What does Smile Express cost?

Smile Express treatment starts as low as $2,995 before we apply any discounts or insurance benefits.

Smile Express is designed specifically for adults who are looking to refresh their smile — moving teeth just a little here and there. Because you’ll be under the care of an orthodontist, they can advise you if more robust treatment is the smarter way to get your best smile ever.
