Oh it must have been fate, or Doc Mateo’s ridiculously good looks and charm, that brought these 2 tooth-crossed lovers together that first year of dental school in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The relationship sparked during long days in the lab, manipulating hot wax to make perfect anatomically correct molars and drilling on plastic teeth until they began to melt and emit smoke, and ignited into a flame of inextinguishable dental love.
Fast Intramural Sports/Study/Tailgate pals, Matt and Meggy would eventually find themselves engaged, married, orthodontic residents, and then, the biggest surprise (literally, was not in the plans at all), pregnant!
After they finished at U of M, the fresh young orthodontists loaded up their son Mason, their bulldogs Lola and Steak, and headed down to Charlotte, NC…. They dreamed of starting a practice with a vibe all their own with a location that was close to the city, close to the lake, and immediately adjacent to a Chick-fil-a. Their dreams all came true, and Lineberger Orthodontics was born.
Nowadays, this tooth dominating duo resides in Cornelius with their 3 vivacious and peculiar children Mason, Mia, Millie, and the newest addition – baby McCoy (yes, our names do all start with M, corny, we know) while Steak, their furry bulldog child, completes the dream team.
They literally could not be more thrilled and honored to be bringing enhanced smiles to the LKN and the Queen City, nor more proud to call these places home.
